Introduction to Robotics Surgery

Our Introduction to Robotics Surgery moves from strength to strength.

Ten delegates joined us this summer to gain hands-on practice with the DaVinci robot and to network with other robotic surgeons.

The course is led by Mr Subash Vasudevan who is Robotic Lead at ESNEFT, where all colorectal surgeons are trained in robotics.  The course contains an overview of the Xi robot, understanding the importance of port placement, docking the robot, simulation training, dry skills training and emergency conversion.
