Our ICENI International Fellowship Programme has gone from strength to strength, and achieved another first.

Dr Salman undertook the Minimally Invasive Colorectal & General Surgery Fellowship.  Since finishing her fellowship, she has returned to Bahrain, where she will become the first female consultant colorectal surgeon in the country.

Two other fellows have successfully completed their fellowships. Dr Ali-Jadkarim completed hers in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, & Dr Koukouli has completed hers in General Surgery and Minimal Access Gynaecology.

We have our first ICENI Centre Ophthalmology Simulation Fellow, whose remit is to build on the Ophthalmology curriculum using the EyeSi Simulator and establish the Trust regionally, nationally and internationally, with ambitions to create a centre of excellence under the leadership of Mr Chrys Dimitriou.
